My problem, when setting up in a bedroom one frosty, dark winter morning eight years ago, was not being distracted by other activities, but by letting my business consume my every waking hour. In a rush to accelerate my journey and 'arrive yesterday', I did not take breaks - nor did I define the perameters between work and home. As a result, the boundaries soon became blurred, causing major issues with my partner who gave me an ultimatum to find an office because his house was no longer a home but a 'PR den' full of newspapers and PR paraphenalia. I now employ a team and am based in my own office but my advice to business owners working from home would echo yours in that self discipline is paramount.
